Measuring Disclaimer

It is the responsibility of the customer to take the measurements for their desired window coverings. If the customer follows the measuring instructions as outlined on the website of atlastwindowcoverings.com, the window coverings will fit.

All of our products are custom made to order so it is very important that you follow our measuring and installation instructions. When you follow our instructions we guarantee your blinds will fit. It is equally important that you review your email order confirmation for accuracy. Of course we realize that mistakes may occur and if we make a mistake on your order we will either repair or remake it at no charge to you. If you make a mistake in measuring or ordering please contact us. Depending on the type of error, you may return the product to the factory for alteration or we will have it remade at a discount. Any cost incurred for alterations due to customer's mistakes, including shipping, will be the responsibility of the customer.

Color Disclaimer

Due to the variances among computer monitors the depictions of the colors you see may not be a true representation of the actual color whether it be painted or stained. Therefore, because these limitations restrict our ability to present completely accurate color representations as well as the quality of the product we recommend you complete the following:

  1. Take advantage of our free sample program and order samples prior to placing your order.
  2. To ensure that all of your blinds have the best possible match, we strongly suggest ordering all of your blinds or shades at the same time so the wood is colored from the same dye lot.
  3. Finished product of stained woods may vary slightly from samples due to dye lots and wood grain.
  4. Because our products are custom made and cannot be returned, you must order samples for exact color match.

At Last...Window Coverings! encourages you to check the backlighting of the fabric before placing your order. This simply means, holding the swatch or sample up against the light, to allow you to see the effect of the backlighting, which can soften colors and highlight the fabric. The filtering effect occurs when light filters through fabrics that are more translucent!

Free Shipping

Shipping is free within the continental United States for any product under certain sizes. There is a shipping surcharge per order for very large products exceeding the maximum lengths. There is a shipping surcharge per order for any shipments going to an area considered rural by small package carrier. Shipping is free for ground shipments only. Fees will apply for 2 day or overnight shipping.

**Please keep in mind that each product is shipped according to the time in which it was ordered! This enables us to ship the product to you upon completion, for the fastest delivery.

Time of Completion

At Last...Window Coverings! makes every effort to provide a quality product in a reasonable time. At times our suppliers are not able to supply the necessary raw materials nor ar able to give the necessary delivery dates of such raw materials to us. When this happens we will notify you within 72 hours after receipt of your order of any delays and make any necessary changes if needed. Due to these unforeseen delays At Last...Window Coverings! accepts no responsibility for such delays and cannot be held liable for estimated dates of completion. Production times for each product vary but typical production times are 5 to 10 business days. Please allow 2 to 2 1/2 weeks for your order to arrive unless you have chosen to select at your cost the express production upgrade.

Sales Tax

At Last...Window Coverings! is a California based business. For that matter, we must collect 7.75% sales tax on all orders delivered to a California address. However, all other orders outside of California, within the continental United States, will not be charged for sales tax, with the exception of any sales tax that are imposed on Internet sales by law.

Phone Orders

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to review by email confirmation any order placed over the phone. At Last...Window Coverings! STRONGLY recommends reviewing your order as soon as possible. At Last...Window Coverings! will not be held responsible for any errors made in measurement or color selection if not informed of said mistakes with in 24 hours of the order being placed. Consult our measuring page for any questions regarding measurements for your blinds. At Last...Window Coverings! strongly encourages the ordering of FREE samples prior to placing any order. Slight variations in dye lots of paints and stains are normal and are NOT considered defective or reason for return of said products.

Order Changes and Cancellations

All orders are custom made to your specifications and may not be cancelled once the order is in the production process. If you are not positive on your end of wanting an order to be produced, then please do not send it in to us, as orders can be produced in as little time as 1 hour. If you absolutely must cancel an order, please contact customer service immediately and we will do all that we can to stop the order. We will advise you if the order can or cannot be cancelled. We will do everything we can to assist your needs. However, each cancellation or change is contingent upon our ability to cancel or change the order with our manufacturer. Orders may not be cancelled due to delays in shipping. Discounts, coupons, and promotions are final at the time of sale. Discounts may not be adjusted after final sale is made. Only one coupon may be used per order.

No changes/cancellations allowed on Rush Delivery Orders.

Freight Claims Policy

Upon the arrival of your order, immediately open and inspect it for any possible manufacturing defects or shipping damage. If you find product damaged or defective contact us as soon as possible! All remakes must be made according to the specifications given at the time of the original order. No exceptions! Any orders having defects from the manufacturer or from the freight carrier will be replaced or repaired as long as you contact us within 5 days of receipt of your order! Make sure to contact us within the specified 5 days or the defects or damage will be replaced or corrected at your expense. If the product requires replacement, you will be given a Return Authorization Number (RA) and we will contact the carrier to pick up the product and return it for repair or replacement. Keep your original boxes and packaging materials in the event you need to return your blinds, At Last...Window Coverings! cannot provide packaging materials. Please inspect your shipment before installing. At Last...Window Coverings! is not responsible for any installation fees.

In the event that your window coverings come damaged due to distress during shipping or manufacturing, please be advised that At Last...Window Coverings! Customer Service may require at its sole discretion that a digital picture be taken of the damaged product and sent to our customer service department. At Last...Window Coverings! may ask for a digital picture to expedite the process of coordinating either a remake or a repair of your window covering. Without a picture At Last...Window Coverings! Customer Service Department cannot coordinate either a remake or a repair, without having the original product being sent back to At Last...Window Coverings! manufacturer. If a customer is not willing to comply with this request, then it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay for a remake or the repair until the damaged product is sent back to our manufacturing facility where the product was made. After which, At Last...Window Coverings! will credit back the customer for the remake or repair.

If an order is shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address due to the customer's mistake, the customer is responsible for postage to re-ship the blinds. At Last...Window Coverings! is not responsible for mistakes made by the shipping company.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and for this reason we offer a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee. Since all products are custom made to order for each customer, they cannot be returned except for warranty repair. We understand that your window coverings are a substantial investment, for this reason we require that free samples must be obtained before ordering to qualify for the Satisfaction Guarantee. This will allow you to view the samples and see any color variations that may occur from monitors, manufacturers, and different lighting environments. Therefore, if the blinds conform to the sample, blinds may not be returned for any of these reasons. In the event that you're not satisfied with your window coverings, At Last...Window Coverings! will make every effort to realize your complete satisfaction. If we fall short of this goal, we will offer you a one-time refund less any shipping and restocking fees (20%) and coordinate a return authorization along with the shipping instructions, however this will only be done after we have had every chance to rectify the situation. Customer will be responsible for the freight charges that are incurred, due to the event of a return. Blinds may not be returned due to mistakes made by customers measurement, incorrect ordering, stained woods and fabrics that vary slightly due to dye lots or wood grain, shipping issues out of our control, etc. Products within the same room should be ordered at the same time to ensure proper matching. At Last...Window Coverings! must be notified with 10 days from date of receipt for any problems. Commercial and contract orders are not covered under this guarantee.

All returns must be given a Return Authorization Number (RA) and shipping address to return the product. Keep your original boxes and packaging materials in the event you need to return your blinds, At Last...Window Coverings! cannot provide packaging materials. All returns must be shipped to At Last...Window Coverings! in new condition within 30 days of receipt, proceeded by prior authorization that has been accepted by At Last...Window Coverings! Customer Service Department.

Dispute Resolution

In the event that At Last...Window Coverings! cannot resolve a dispute involving any of the following: Shipping, Policies regarding measuring your order, Online Ordering and Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, both parties agree to settle any disputes through Arbitration. All matters regarding any disputes will be settled by an arbitrator from the pool of retired judges from the American Arbitration Association. All decisions settled in arbitration are binding. All arbitration proceedings shall be filed in Orange County, California. United States Law will apply in all cases involving arbitration and the prevailing party will be responsible for the reasonable costs and attorney fees. This section does not cover all your rights pertaining to arbitration. If you would like to find out more regarding your rights please feel free to do so.

Warranties

Because we take pride in choosing only the finest materials, our superior craftsmanship and the quality we build into each and every wood blind & faux wood blind, we are pleased to extend to you our Limited Lifetime Warranty effective August 14, 2007.

Type of Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty: On the headrail and components and two (2) years on all slat material wood or faux wood.

Who is covered?

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies only to At Last...Window Coverings! window blinds properly installed in a residential application.

What is covered?

The Basswood and faux wood blinds are warranted against original defects in materials or workmanship.

Our guarantee to you

The obligation of At Last...Window Coverings! in the event of a defect in parts or workmanship under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement or parts or product found to be defective in our opinion. Provided it is returned to the dealer from which it was purchased. Warranty claims MUST be accompanied by the original sales receipt. Please provide a detailed description of the problem. If repairs are made under this warranty, the repairs will be made with like or similar parts.

No Liability for incidental or consequential damages

Repair or replacement of defective products is your sole remedy under this warranty and under no circumstances is At Last...Window Coverings! responsible for shipping cost or any labor cost associated with the taking down or reinstalling of the product sent in for repair or incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Guarantee limits

This warranty does not cover conditions or damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse or failure to follow instructions for measurement, instillations, cleaning or maintenance. In addition, normal wear and tear upon the product or damage to the product resulting from direct exposure to salt air, sun rot, sun fading, and some loss of color intensity or discoloration may occur in plastic materials or wood finishes due to sunlight or the passage of time, areas of high humidity may cause excessive warpage of wood slats and is not covered by this warranty. All products discontinued in the normal course of business are specifically excluded from any future warranty.

At Last...Window Coverings! wood blinds are crafted from the finest hardwoods available under rigid quality assurance standards. Some slight warpage, as well as natural variations in color and grain, are normal with a natural wood product and are not considered defects. All materials can lose original intensity after long exposure to the sun. All cords will eventually wear out and are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered by this warranty. Variations in color occur naturally and can vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatches or previous purchases. All of these variations are acceptable and considered standard in wood product industries.

Other exclusions

Blinds exceeding 96” in either a single, 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 blind will invalidate the warranty plus there will be additional charges for oversize freight and crating charges on blinds over 92” Products ordered outside of the recommended manufacturing specifications (Oversized blinds) bigger than 96” are not covered by this warranty.

Additional Unlimited Warranty Available

At time of ordering take advantage of the unlimited 6 year warranty, this is a no fault warranty.

Just email or call the claims department and a replacement blind will be sent out at no charge within 5 days, if color is no longer available then choose a new color. The replacement blind must be made with the same configurations.

All we ask is for the old blind to be returned within 10 days. If old blind is not returned the replacement blind will be charged. The cost of this warranty is an additional 35% of the cost of the blind.

Privacy & Security

At Last...Window Coverings! uses a secure sockets layer (SSL) that encrypts all your Secure Ordering information - from your name to your credit card number - for complete security and privacy. The process is safer than swiping your card at any retail store. We use Verisign to provide this SSL - the most trusted name in the industry. Please note: we do not store your credit card information for added security.

In addition, At Last...Window Coverings! uses a program called Hacker Safe, which scans this website every day to make sure it is hacker safe.

You will see both the Verisign and Hacker Safe logos at the time of check out which means we are in compliance with their standards and guidelines and that this is a completely secure and safe website uses of Personal Information
